My two sons made it to the chapel to light candles for their grandmothers at the end of mass. Our visit to Westport was lovely. Climbed Croagh Patrick not quite knowing what we were getting into. What an adventure! Felt like a great accomplishment. How about St. Patrick 40 days on the mountain... water? Shelter? Must have been a powerful, prayerful experience. Definitely felt like a Holy experience connecting to God, St. Patrick, and all the pilgrims who went before us. We were blessed to participate in this special tradition.
